With the background of Peter’s spectacular failure as a disciple we might have expected that he would set the bar for Christian discipleship really low.  The reality however is quite the opposite – we are to be holy as God is holy!  How are we ever going to come anywhere near clearing that bar?  In the second part of a two-part message on 1 Peter 1:13 to 2:3 James concentrates on Peter’s teaching which helps us recognise why we are to be holy and how we are to achieve this.
