By definition, because of its origin, and from the nature of its love, the New Church vision of marriage is different from the way marriage and its love is defined in our culture today. That unique view invites a different approach to attaining that love. It also promises a love that is eternal in nature and is in its essence heavenly. It is truly a most precious gift from the Lord alone.
