In 1982, eight year old Kelly Ann Prosser disappeared from a busy intersection in Columbus, Ohio.  Days later, her body was found in a cornfield, and the hunt for a murderer began.  Investigators had no idea that an answer would not come for 38 years, or would be discovered with the help of a podcast and advances in genealogical DNA.  In this episode Shay and Weebs discuss this horrific crime, the details of  the science behind genealogical DNA research, and the profound message Kelly Ann's family now has for her killer.
