In Episode 70 of the Sense-Making in a Changing World I am delighted to welcome Satish Kumar back to the show . Satish is the world-renowned peace activist, founder of Schumacher College, long time editor of Resurgence Magazine, former Jain Monk who has walked across the world for peace, met with world leaders and peace leaders such as Martin Luther King, the Dalai Lama and the Pope.

He is a very dear friend who I wish I could see more often but we live across the oceans. In our conversation, Satish shares a message of the potency of living a life of elegant simplicity and speaking up for the what matters.

Satish is the author of many books - including Pilgrimage for Peace: The Long Walk from India to Washington (2021) and Elegant Simplicity (2019)

Before we begin, I’d like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the unceded lands from which I’m speaking with you, the Gubbi Gubbi, and pay my deep respect to their elders past present and emerging. I’d like to recognise their ability to care for this land, the waters, and biodiversity for so many thousands of years.

I'd love to hear from you. Text me here.
