  1. Management can’t be for the money, because you WILL NOT make more in your first few years. Oftentimes, it's less.

  2. Getting to know the person behind the role. You need to connect with the sales rep on a personal level so you can have a true connection with them and know how they need you to push them.

  3. Your calendar is no longer your calendar. Your time of 9-5 is now for the team. The time you need to work on personal projects is done before and after those hours.
