On this episode, I interview Anna Davidson - a survivior of domestic violence who is starting to share her experience with others who may need help. Domestic abuse will affect 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men in their lifetime. This Leads to, on average, two women being murdered each week and 30 men per year and accounts for 16% of all violent crime, however it is still the violent crime least likely to be reported to the police. Domestic violence has more repeat victims than any other crime. This is not only an inspiring story of resilience, strength and determination, it's also a moving, sad and frightening one. Anna is a strong woman, she shares her story of working in a successful corporate career, being the breadwinner in a loving marriage to taking redundancy and everything she knew and trusted being taken from her. N.B Apologies for the random beeping in the show.
