Episode 0032 "After The Verdict"
Original Story by Henry Slesar, Directed by Himan Brown, Host: E.G. Marshall
After The Verdict is a tale about justice, about the lady that stands over the criminal courthouses of America with a blindfold over her eyes. Of course the blindfold represents impartiality not faulty vision but yet there are occasions when justice seems to be looking the other way and that’s something, which bothers attorney Ned Murray very much in deed.
Ned wins his case and his client is acquitted of murder. However after the trial is over Luis Rydal tells Ned that he did commit the murder and would do it again to the next guy that touched his wife. Ned Murray is determined that Rydal must pay for his crime but there seems to be no lawful way to do this.
