Kids First Radio -Tamil Goodson

The Kids First Radio Show with Keven Cohen is archived on SoundCloud and live Mondays on 100.7 The Point Radio. It is a great way to learn about all the fantastic ways kids are being put first in SC. On this week’s show, Keven spoke with our Superintendent, Chris Neeley, and Tamil Goodson, the school leader at one of our newest Charter Schools, Meeting Street Schools - Jasper/Beaufort. Tamil Goodson began her educational career in the Charleston County School District in 2012 as a third-grade teacher at Chicora Elementary School. Ms. Goodson spent years as an elementary school teacher and Academic Dean before accepting her first principal position in the Meeting Street Network. Her educational philosophy is based on her uncompromising belief that all students deserve a quality education. Her passion is developing positive relationships with students and teachers, working with students as they grow, supporting teachers and staff so that they can reach their most significant potential, and fostering a positive school culture.
