Kids First Radio Show -Lori Mastromonico

The Kids First Radio Shoe with Keven Cohen is archived on SoundCloud and live Mondays at 5:30 pm on 100.7 The Point from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to learn about all the fantastic ways kids are being put first in SC. On this week’s show, Keven spoke with our Deputy Superintendent, John R. Payne, and Lori Mastromonico, the principal at Tall Pines STEM Academy in Aiken, SC. She has been in education for over 20 years. She has been at Tall Pines since the school opened. Most recently, she served as the school’s Literacy Coach. Mrs. Mastromonico holds a Master of Education degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and a Master of Education degree in Teaching and Learning, focusing on Instructional Coaching from Clemson University. Mrs. Mastromonico and her husband, Jeff, have two boys: Jacob and Alex. Together, they serve in their church on Sunday mornings, leading a small adult group during the week. The family enjoys volunteering, performing on stage, and helping backstage at Aiken Community Theatre.
