On this week’s show, Keven will speak with our Superintendent, Chris Neeley, and Elizabeth Simpson, Executive Director/Principal at Compass Collegiate Academy in Charleston, S.C.Elizabeth Simpson has extensive experience in founding and leading charter schools. With over fifteen years in education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, she has established and led a high-performing charter school in Memphis, TN, and led transformation efforts as a school leader in Washington, D.C., and Charlotte, NC. After founding Grizzlies Prep in Memphis, TN, she led the school to rank in the top 5% of schools in the state for year-to-year student growth. She has worked as a network-level leader at the elementary and middle school levels and as a teacher in district and charter schools. Ms. Simpson holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Richmond and an M.S. in Special Education from the University of Memphis. #education #KidsFirst #schools #leader
