The Kids First Radio Show with Keven Cohen is archived on SoundCloud and live Mondays on 100.7 The Point from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to learn about all the fantastic ways kids are being put first in South Carolina. On today's show, Keven Cohen will speak with our Deputy Superintendent, John R Payne, and Greenville Tech Charter High School student Bella Meisten. Bella Meisten is a Greenville Technical Charter High School senior who plans to major in International Relations. Bella is a passionate, driven student who will graduate top of her class with 58 college credits. She is heavily involved in both her school and community. Within her school, she is the President of her school's Beta Club, a captain of the Varsity soccer team, the Business Manager of Students in Action, an ambassador, and an actor in the theater department's most recent production, Our Town. Bella is committed to serving her local and school community. For her Senior Project, she is working to minimize the stigma surrounding mental health. She has created a Mental Health Awareness Week with guest speakers and other educational opportunities for students and parents. Bella is also a member of the Greenville Youth Council. Throughout high school, she has volunteered with Beck Academy's special education students, and recently, she organized a Bingo night for senior citizens. #KidsFirst #charterschool
