This week on the Love Letters, Life & Other Conversations podcast Wendy shares her experience listening to Terri Cole speak on two podcast episodes as a springboard for the conversation. She shares about how she is challenging herself to stop saying an automatic yes for seven days. To give thoughtful consideration to the ‘yes’ response vs giving it freely and without thought.
Jane and Wendy also talk about how not only is it important to stop the auto yes, but it is equally important to omit the unnecessary apology, and they discuss the gift (although a bit awkward at first) of a pregnant pause when communicating.
