San Diego Remembers: 9/11 Tributes and Unity

San Diego County unites to commemorate the 24th anniversary of 9/11 with moving tributes, acts of service, and community support. From a solemn ceremony on the USS Midway featuring a reading of the names of fallen first responders, a flyover, and a 21-gun salute, to free meals for fire and police stations courtesy of local businesses, the region honors the heroes and victims of that day. Participate in university remembrance ceremonies, a stair climb challenge, or volunteer opportunities across the county. Join the pause in northbound traffic at the border or the Heroes Run, as San Diego comes together to remember, honor, and serve.
