Sandra E. Cox, PhD takes the veil off on Mental Health issues and
teaches we need to be more compassionate regarding family friends and loved ones who sffer
from mental disorders .
Executive Director, Coalition of Mental Health Professionals, Inc. Dr. Sandra E. Cox has
dedicated the last 30 years of her life to the South Los Angeles community in which she
was raised. Following the example set by her parents, Dr. Cox has always been a community
activist. Her persistence, ingenuity, and compassion have earned her the respect of
colleagues, the community and consumers. She has worked tirelessly to improve the lives
of those most marginalized in our society today, particularly those who are homeless and
mentally disabled.
Fighting Inches Foundation Inc. was founded in 2005 by the late LeShaun E. Bell and his
wife and business partner, Rachel Jackson Bell, whose vision it was for Fighting Inches
Foundation to have a significant influence on the community by empowering children and
their parents to lead successful lives regardless of their current economic circumstances.
It was established to support the work of "Little Heirs Child Care" by offering subsidized
services for families in need in order to assist them in achieving their highest
potential. In Studio Guests included Mrs. Jackson Bell, her younger brother Matthew
Jackson who is the Athletic Director for the organization and Intake Specialist Cassondra
Garcia who shares her story of going from client to serving on the staff.
