Is solicitation a bad thing?

Chasing down customers in the flesh or over the phone doesn't have to be such a bad thing! Yes it can be more time and labour intensive than growing leads over the internet, but it also forces you to gain some social savy and interpersonal skills that will come in handy for dealing with "walk ins" and people who find you on your "social" or the internet.
