JSAs or JHAs if you like, have been around a long-time, because they work. The challenge, they are very task specific, for example, they may give a step-by-step review of the procedures and hazards of say replacing a pump, but rarely cover the most at-risk part of the job driving to the pump. For many employees, JSAs have just become required paperwork. Could we turn that act into a skill? Then a habit?
