The book "Journey to Ixtlan" and life of Carlos Castaneda inspired in me a deep wound of being disappointed by someone not being who they pretended to be.
It send me on a deep philosophical introspective journey through writings of Joseph Campbell, Friedrich Nietzsche, Marcel Proust, David Graeber and Georges Bataille and somehow it made complete sense when put in perspective of Don Juan and Carlos Castaneda.
