Kings vs Lakers 12/28/24 - Kings lose first game with new coach Doug Christie

A lot of the times when there is a coaching change mid-season, it ends up being like the picture of Alex Jones promoting his supplements where the before and after shots look exactly the same with a no real tangible difference.

This is not a criticism of Doug as a coach, but the Kings look just about the same. They did look more sharp in some aspects, but it was the same story, their defense was subpar and they could not make a 3 for long stretches of the game.

We'll have to see if things improve as time goes by, but the Kings are in a bad spot, and there's not many signs that things will be getting better.
