Veteran & leadership consultant | Tim Dickey - S.O.S. Podcast #62

Hello everyone! Once again, I have the pleasure to speak to a fellow Sailor who is using his leadership insights to help the masses. I always love when I connect with a like-minded human and one who listens to others and brings a humanistic and compassionate approach to his work.

Tim Dickey enlisted in the United States Navy after high school graduation. His service started in the submarine force and ended up supporting deployed special operations units. With multiple shipboard and boots-on-the-ground deployments, he has worked with top, high-performing teams. He served on both active and reserve duty for nearly 25 years until his retirement in 2016 where he learned servant-leadership in the crucible.

Tim worked for Carnival Cruise Lines, Verizon, IBM, and now Improving Enterprises. He is a consultant working as a Scrum Master for an energy sector company. 

He graduated from Excelsior College earning a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Computer and Information Systems) and a Master’s Degree in Arts (Global Strategies).
