Solo podcast #5: Reflections on deployment and my military career

This is a hard video to share but expands upon my time in Germany, the good, the bad, and the ugly. 

It’s overall been a positive experience to be sure, but I don’t feel four months with no social circle is healthy.  I’m not sure I’m up for deployments and extended work trips alone anymore. 

I’m also realizing that I have got to expand my connections with more creatives and get to the bottom of some of my struggles with rejection. 

Anyway, I’m not sure anyone can relate to some of this in their respective work lives, but being in the 10 percent of women who serve and at a senior rank while such an honor, gets difficult at times too. 

I’m just not sure after this next tour it’s in me anymore to keep on serving, or if maybe I’ll find the connections I need as I grow deeper into who I’m becoming.
