This is a long one coming. I'm talking to Stuart Scheller, a former Marine Lt. Col. who made a choice for a cause and paid a heavy price.
I have been following his journey in the public eye since he put out his first video on social media demanding more accountability of military leadership. He made a series of posts after that point, many in uniform, which ultimately led to his discharge from active duty. And while he made a choice I would not, his journey behind why he did it and where he is now is fascinating.
Please join us as we talk about his story and most importantly how those of us on active duty, or out of the military can stand up and seek change in our respective arenas.
Stuart Scheller was born in Illinois and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has spent the last seventeen years in North Carolina near Camp Lejeune. He has a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He also has a Master’s degree in Military Science from the Marine Corps University.
He strongly believes that America is worth fighting for. He believes in the Constitution, the United States Democracy, and the power of people to make a difference in the world. He believes that the only way for evil to be defeated is for good people to take action.
