My guest for this Wednesday is a dear friend of mine who has helped me make sense of my past and how for years I let that narrative control my present. Nancy helps people unlock what's holding them back so that they can move forward stronger.

Like me, she had a difficult relationship with a primary caregiver, and as we all know, those early childhood experiences shape the course of our lives. Until we fully own our past and process those relationships in a healthy fashion, we never transform into the person we aspire to be.

Along that same line, if we've had traumatic experiences in the workplace, but bury those scars, we are destined to repeat them unless we fully understand why it happened and what lessons we can take away from those incidences.

Nancy Harrity has spent the past 30 years sharing stories for government agencies and corporations with international, national, and local media, as well as with financial and industry analysts and other influencers. These stories landed customers, enhanced stock prices, garnered cooperation from partners, and celebrated and guided employees. After burning out - twice - she learned unhealed hurts and hidden triggers drive behavior and that the stories we tell ourselves are FAR more important than any story we tell anyone else.
