Hey guys! I'm finally back with another broadcast, and you do not want to miss this one. I'm chatting with my friend Mark Meadors about his near brush with death and how that experience shaped his life going forward.
Two years ago, Mark discovered that he had stage III-C rectal cancer which has a 16 percent survival rate. For the past five years, he had a slow-growing tumor in his body that was quickly spreading.
This near-death experience profoundly changed his perspective on life and using the skills he gained years prior as part of alcoholics anonymous, he was able to cope with this devastating news with grace and humor.
With steadfast determination and an unwavering ability to take his darkest moments and find it's meaning, he not only survived cancer through 27 radiation treatments but thrived through the experience, both physically and mentally. He calls this experience "the great life reset."
Join us as I find out what kept him going through this adversity, how he uses this experience to help others, and how he spends his life now.
