God’s sovereignty means God allows only the trials that we can overcome by His grace. 

👨‍💻 Teaching: 

1. Thorn in the flesh could mean physical ailment, hardships, or temptation. 

2. God limits our suffering according to the grace He has given us. 

3. God is sovereign over our sufferings, weaknesses, and unanswered prayers.  

💪 Application:

1. Expect that some thorns in the flesh would not go away. 

2. Rely on God’s grace which enables us to overcome all challenges of life. 

3. Trust God’s sovereign decision for every unanswered prayers. 

🎙Discussion:

How does the sufficiency of God’s grace comfort us when we face trials of many kinds? 

🙏 Prayer:

Sovereign Lord, You are sovereign over Satan, thorns in the flesh, and all kinds of suffering. Now, I realize that You limit all my trials according to the grace You would give me. For this very reason I trust Your sovereign decision with all my heart.
