The Doctrine of the Second Coming of Christ:

1. Jesus became like us at the First Coming so that we can become like Him at the Second Coming.

2. We will become perfect at the Second Coming of Christ.

3. The hope of the Second Coming purifies us from a sinful life.

💪 Application:

1. Live as children of God according to the example of our Firstborn Brother, Jesus Christ.

2. Purify ourselves, knowing that we are destined for perfection.

3. Enjoy our fellowship with Jesus in the Spirit now.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord God, forgive me for giving less time to fellowship, devotions, prayer, and Bible reading. Forgive me for neglecting my fellowship with You. Thank You for the great love You have lavished on me by calling me Your child. As Your child, You are conforming me to mature like Jesus (Rom. 8:29). Someday, when Jesus comes back, I will become perfect just as Jesus is perfect. Thank You for the assurance of the blessed hope—the coming of my King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen!
