💁🏻 Concept: Repentance

Repentance is more than mere regret or fear of consequences. It is a heartfelt sorrow for sin, a turning away from it, and a sincere commitment to walk in obedience to Christ. Repentance is not a human work that earns grace but a gift from God granted alongside saving faith. It flows from a regenerated heart, humbled by God’s holiness and drawn to Christ’s mercy.

1. Change of heart– Godly sorrow (true brokenness)

2. Change of mind– Metanoia (transformed mind)

3. Change of direction– Shuv (turning to God)

How to prove repentance? 

1. Seek to live a godly lifestyle. 

2. Serve others with humility and love.

3. Shun whatever breaks God’s heart.

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Merciful Father, thank You for Your love that leads me to repentance. I confess my sins and grieve over the ways I have fallen short of Your glory. Cleanse my heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Help me not only to mourn over my sins but also to hate them and turn away from them completely. Let my life bear the fruit of true repentance—obedience, humility, and joy in You. Keep me walking closely with Christ and make me quick to repent daily. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
