💁🏻 Concept: Primary Cause

The primary cause refers to God as the divine, invisible, and ultimate cause behind everything that happens. This concept affirms God’s sovereignty in all events—nothing is random or outside His control. Though He often works through secondary causes (like people, nature, or circumstances), God remains the One who directs all things according to His wise and holy will. This truth doesn’t make us robots—it gives us confidence that history and our lives are not in the hands of chance, but in the hands of a faithful God who works all things together for His glory and our good.

📖 Bible Readings: Genesis 50:20

(Proverbs 16:9; Romans 11:36; Isaiah 46:9–10; Ephesians 1:11; Genesis 50:20; Acts 2:23, 4:27-28; Daniel 4:35)

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Sovereign God, thank You that nothing in my life happens by accident. You are the primary cause behind all things, directing history and my story with perfect wisdom. Help me to rest in Your providence when I face things I don’t understand. Keep me from fear and help me trust Your hand even when I can’t see it. Remind me that You are always working for Your glory and for the good of those who love You. May I walk by faith, knowing You are in control. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
