💁🏻 Concept: Philosophical Theology

Philosophical theology is the study of God and His attributes using the tools of human reason, logic, and observation of the universe. It asks deep questions—like the nature of time, existence, morality, and causality—and seeks to show how these lead to a rational belief in God. While reason is a gift from God, it is limited and must submit to Scripture. Philosophical theology can support faith, but it cannot replace divine revelation. It helps us see that faith is not blind—and that the God of the Bible is both rationally credible and gloriously transcendent.

📖 Bible Readings: Romans 1:19-20

(Job 11:7-9; Acts 17:24-28; Psalm 19:1-4; Ecclesiastes 3:11; 1 Corinthians 1:20-25; Colossians 2:2-3)

🙏🏼 Prayer:

All-wise and loving God, thank You for the gift of a mind that can think, reason, and wonder. You are a God of truth and clarity, never of confusion. I long to know You more—not just through creation or ideas, but through Your Word. Help me commit to reading the Bible daily, with a heart that listens and a mind that seeks understanding. Shape my thoughts with Your truth and guard me from pride. Let every insight lead me closer to You, the source of all wisdom. Deepen my faith as I delight in Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
