💁🏻 Concept: Perfectionism
Perfectionism is the belief that a Christian can attain a state of sinless perfection—freedom from all conscious sin—while still in this life. Though it often arises from a sincere desire for holiness, this view is not supported by Scripture. While believers are called to grow in sanctification, they still wrestle with sin until glorification. We are justified and being sanctified, but not yet perfected. True hope lies not in achieving perfection now, but in clinging to Christ, who was perfect for us. The Christian life is one of daily repentance, humble dependence, and steady growth—not moral arrival.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Gracious Lord, I confess that I am far from perfect, and yet You have loved me with a perfect love. Thank You for justifying me through Christ, not my performance. Help me to grow in holiness without falling into pride or despair. Keep me from the lie that I must earn Your favor, and remind me daily that Jesus was perfect in my place. Teach me to walk humbly, repent quickly, and depend fully on Your Spirit. In my weakness, show Your strength. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
