💁🏻 Concept: Patience
Patience, in reference to God, is His goodness in withholding deserved punishment from sinners over a period of time. It reflects His long-suffering character—He does not rush to anger but gives space for repentance. God’s patience is not weakness or delay, but a purposeful display of His mercy toward both the elect and the rebellious. His patience magnifies His justice, as no sin goes unpunished, and His grace, as many are led to salvation during this delay. We should never presume upon God’s patience but respond with repentance, reverence, and gratitude.
📖 Bible Readings: Nahum 1:3
(Romans 2:4; Exodus 34:6; Psalm 103:8-10; Isaiah 30:18; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 1:16; Nahum 1:3)

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Merciful Father, thank You for being slow to anger and rich in patience. You could have judged me long ago, but instead, You gave me time to hear the gospel, turn from sin, and follow Christ. Forgive me when I take Your patience for granted. Help me to respond with humility and repentance, not stubbornness. Make me patient with others, just as You are with me. May Your long-suffering love lead more people to salvation. I worship You for Your kindness, Your timing, and Your faithful mercy. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
