💁🏻 Concept: Order Of Salvation

The Order of Salvation (Latin: Ordo Salutis) is a theological term that refers to the sequence of events in which God applies the benefits of salvation to individuals. While all of salvation is rooted in God’s eternal plan, the order includes steps such as calling, regeneration, conversion (faith and repentance), justification, adoption, sanctification, and glorification. This order is not about human effort but God’s sovereign grace at work in real time. It highlights the beauty of how God awakens the dead, grants faith, justifies sinners, and brings them all the way home in glory.

📖 Bible Readings: Romans 8:29-30

(Ephesians 1:4-5; John 6:44; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Acts 2:38, 16:14, 20:21; Romans 5:1, 10:9-10; Galatians 2:16, 4:4-7; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Philippians 1:6, 2:12-13; Titus 3:5-7)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:

1. Salvation is God’s work from beginning to end.

2. The believer’s journey is secure in God’s hand.

3. If God cares about the big things, he also cares about the small things.

💪🏼 Applications:

1. Share the gospel because it is the power of God.

2. Edify others with God’s grace and eternal plan.

3. Trust God for both big things and small things.

🎙Discussion:

How can we practically trust God for small and big things?

Alternative questions:

1. What have you learned from this devotion?

2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Gracious Lord, thank You that my salvation is not random, but perfectly ordered by Your sovereign grace. You called me, gave me new life, drew me to faith, declared me righteous, and are now making me holy. One day, You will glorify me in Your presence. I give You all the praise for every step of this divine process. Keep me humble, hopeful, and faithful as You complete Your work in me. Let me never forget that it is all by Your mercy. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
