💁🏻 Concept: Inspiration

Inspiration refers to the fact that the words of Scripture are spoken by God. Unlike the casual use of “inspiration” in daily speech, the Bible uses the stronger term “God-breathed.” This means that Scripture originates from the very breath of God—perfect, trustworthy, and full of divine authority. Every word in the Bible carries His voice, His truth, and His purpose for our lives.

3. Read with the intention of growing in the Lord.

Lord, thank You for giving us Your Word—alive, powerful, and God-breathed. Help me to treasure it not just as a book of wisdom, but as Your very voice speaking into my life. When I am tempted to trust my own ideas or emotions, remind me that Your truth stands forever. Give me the humility to submit to Your Word, and the hunger to keep learning and growing through it. May I never take the Bible for granted, but read it daily with reverence, awe, and joy. Thank You for loving me enough to speak so clearly. In Jesus’ name, amen.
