Jordon DuBose began running with the aim of losing weight, which initially was motivated by the wrong reasons. Overcoming an eating disorder and hip surgery, she found running therapeutic. Her first marathon was in 2015, and she's become addicted to the sport. She emphasizes the importance of celebrating victories, even small ones, and the value of tenacity. Jordon's favorite race is the First Light half marathon, which taught her she can tackle challenges.

She's passionate about running for a cause, particularly supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She will be running the New York Marathon as a St. Jude hero. Her final words of wisdom revolve around pursuing visions and goals that align with a deeper purpose. She believes that if you receive a vision, it's a sign that you're meant to fulfill it. Jordon is excited and determined to take on the challenges of the New York Marathon and is looking forward to the experience.
