Connor and Riley examine one of the most acclaimed documentary filmmakers of all time: Werner Herzog. In his 2005 film Grizzly Man, he studies the tragic story of Timothy Treadwell, a man who spent 13 summers in Alaska with grizzly bears only to eventually be attacked and eaten by one of them. While Herzog unapologetically indulges in our morbid fascinations, he treats the story with appropriate reverence.
