Bruce Parry is an award winning documentary and film maker, indigenous rights advocate, author and is an explorer of the inner, local and distant realms. His documentary series for the BBC including Tribe, Amazon, and Arctic have shown Bruce exploring extreme environments, living with remote indigenous peoples and highlighting many of the important issues being faced on the environmental frontline. He is the maker of the film Tawai - A voice from the Forest, which takes a philosophical and sociological look at life, through an immersive odyssey to explore the different ways that humans relate to nature and how this influences the way we create our societies.
Bruce is currently immersed in a project in the UK where he is a part of a small community whose aim is to craft a manifesto for egalitarian living, exploring new ideas around hierarchy, ownership, healing, conflict resolution and decision making, to find ways of living respectfully, regeneratively and wildly with each other and the surrounding local environment.
