Megan and I covered a LOT in this podcast, and she even asked me to open up a little bit about the reasons behind ending my 9-year long term relationship.  We discussed:

  • The breadcrumbs of hope: those reinforcement hits we get when we’re hanging on to a relationship that isn’t serving us, but keeps roping us back in for more
  • Attachment issues, the moments of validation that we search for, and this entire concept of the pain/time continuum that can spike our pain when we think about walking away to the point that it keeps us stuck
  • The cost of compassion and what can happen when we have an overabundance of compassion
  • Loneliness, manipulation, guilt, shame and self-sabotage
  • Compromise vs. boundaries
  • This concept we seem to have that creativity has to come from pain

This entire episode was incredibly special from start to finish, please make sure to connect with Megan and show her some love for coming on!
