How many of us can truly listen without judging the other person or the concept that is being brought across in that statement?

For me, it's hard, right? It's hard just to listen.

So, listen first, process what's listened, then respond.

You'll actually seem a lot wiser, even if you're not, if you take that space to formulate your thoughts in the middle of responding.
