For me, one thing I've been taught is your income reflects the size of the problems you can solve and the only way you can solve a problem is by growing and being a bigger person. So that huge problem you saw early in your life, because you've grown personally and interpersonally, it now looks smaller even though it's the same size and it's easier for you to handle it.
