Quote by Miyamoto Musashi: Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye. Nurture the ability to perceive the truth in all matters.
We need to do this more than ever, because if we're just on social media and we just learn on social media, we only get the perspective of what we already believe.
My personal opinion is we need to make sure we look at the opposite viewpoint and then confirm or deny our bias. If it's true, if it's not. We need to nurture that perception and also nurture the perception of the people in front of us. Are they telling the truth? Are they lying?
When I had a bad breakup in 2023 I checked out four books on lying so that I could better determine whether a person is lying to me or not because, frankly, my former girlfriend was lying to me and I wanted to understand more about how to perceive when a person is lying.
