S3 E17: The Portal

While Eight and Shepherd are sure that they need to enter the portal, Rou isn’t so sure. The group takes their time looking for tracks and testing out the portal, knowing that it could very well be a one-way trip. When they see someone appear in the portal, they try to call out and get their attention. While it appears they can hear the calls, it seems they can’t see the group and carry on.

Rou, Eight and Shepherd eventually jump through the portal, and learn that the individual they saw is named Sprickle-sprack. He reveals to them that someone fitting Hunter’s description arrived about a month ago, and was last seen with Thistle. When the group asks for him to guide them to Thistle, he does so only in exchange for gold and warns them that people in that realm generally avoid Thistle.
