Rising from the Margins
"Rising From The Margins" is a compelling podcast series that explores the transformative journey of California's economically challenged schools through the lens of the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence's Intensive Assistance Model (IAM) pilot project and the Community Engagement Initiative. Set against the backdrop of post-COVID-19 educational crises, increases in chronic absenteeism and decline in assessment scores, the series provides an in-depth look at LEAs improvement strategies to address these challenges. The series is a rich narrative of schools transformation to accelerate learning and achieve Local Control and Accountability Plan goals, offering insights into their experiences and successes.
