Why you want to eat even if you're full.
I ran an experiment on myself today to test the micro nutrients idea from yesterday. Okay, it wasn't a planned experiment, but it was great insight anyway!
Although I stayed within my calorie count and macro counts today, I was still feeling unsatisfied. Like something was missing still that made me want to eat even though I was full still.
Then I realized my error. A big miscalculation in my recipe meant the calorie count was WAY off.
So my gut and body told me I was full, but my mind knew something was missing. I held off eating until a little later and went with a heavy dose of mixed veggies, some shrimp, an orange, and milk. That took care of the micronutrients I needed and kept me at our below my target numbers overall!
Now, one day of eating this way, even if I hadn't noticed, wouldn't have mattered. Doing it every day would. But really, just understanding why your body and mind are sending these mixed signals will help me way more than anything!
