Do you have non-negotiables to hit? Are you hitting them no matter what? Or do you just call them non-negotiables to sound cool?
I find a way to fit my steps in even on days like poker Saturday when I know I'll spend more time sitting still than I normally would.
I got a little over half way before I went, got a little in during breaks, and finished up at night.
If you're not finding a way to fit in those things you say are important, then you need to start being honest with yourself about your commitments to yourself.
