You might disagree, but you fully control your weight in the kitchen. You want to lose weight? Eat less and pay attention to what you eat. You want to gain weight and/or muscle? Eat more and make sure you eat enough protein and fats to maintain your hormone levels.
It really is that simple as a concept. The nuances can get difficult, I get that. The exact foods may vary person to person. But the concept never changes.
When you eat low quality, high volume foods, you will gain fat and the scale will climb. If you lower the volume and learn your true hunger signals, you will eat plenty to both lose weight and not be starving. I lost 90 lbs while barely moving and never starving myself. It's possible. Are you willing? That's the real question.
