I've had so much more energy after switching things up with my macros again.
I tried a full-on carnivore diet (well, animal based, really since I was drinking milk), and my psoriasis was acting up a little, and my energy was a little low.
After that sugar fasting fail, I realized I'm not as sure a full carnivore diet is optimal for me. It works for some and not others.
I've found that doing a split of 40% protein, 30% carbs, and 30% fats really does work best for me. I have my clearest skin and the most energy.
That's not what others would tell me is best... but I've tested several things now, and all of them put me back to this.
Test and try different splits for a long-ish time period and see what happens. It helps if you track your macros for that time period so you know the percentages.
Once you dial it in, you can go back to intuitive eating as you'll know which macro you're low on based on the symptoms you figured out while testing.
