This one was brutal for sure, lol.
I saw an interview with the guy who got me into sandbags this week and wanted to try this out. It sucked! 30 minutes of carrying a sandbag without letting it hit the ground.
My breaks were deep squats with the bag resting on my legs so I could give my arms a break.
I bear hugged, shoulder carried, alternated... whatever it took to not drop the bag.
My legs wanted to give out. My grip was non-existent. I wanted to quit. I thought I would break before the 30 minutes. But somehow, I kept going. The squats got deeper, which was awesome, lol. But I never touched the ground with anything but my feet. I kept the bag off the ground for 30 straight minutes.
It sucked. A lot. It hurt. A lot! But I did it! And that was satisfying.
How'd I finish even when I was convinced I would fail? I kept telling myself to try one more lap and decide after that. Squat, rest, then convince myself to try one more lap. Over and over again.
No excuses!
