It's about accountability. This mom was teaching her daughters how to be accountable for their own emotions.
I loved the way she explained this. It's a real-life example of a person not taking accountability for their own mind because it's uncomfortable. You know you've done the same in traffic, at home, at work, and basically anywhere you've interacted with another human 🤣.
Either way, the message is the same. You are responsible for your own emotions. You can explain them to another person, but they aren't your emotions. Ownership helps you process things better in the long run, which helps you move through them and past them faster.
