Having a workout partner is definitely a boost!
If you NEED them to push you constantly because you lack motivation for yourself, it's a bad deal for them (or vice versa).
But when you both bring more out of the other in friendly competition and teach each other based on your individual strengths, then it's a huge boost.
I still love getting work on alone, too. I can let my brain wander while I get the work in. But a partner in crime is nice, and I loved having my little brother to get some extra work in with this weekend.
No excuses!
