Obviously, this starts with a little satire, but the rest is solid 😂
Look, you don't need to get up and do a rigorous workout, meditate for an hour, or cold plunge. There's no need to face plant into icy lemon water. You don't need to journal for an hour. All of these things might work for some, but certainly aren't right for all.
The best advice I've ever heard around this is to match your routine to your brains morning wiring. If you are more creative in the morning, then do something creative. If you're more physical, then do a hard workout. But the more you try and force someone else's "perfect" routine into your life and it doesn't match your energy, the more likely you are to get frustrated and quit trying.
The only thing I would say is that a hard and fast rule for me is to be consistent with it. Do your best to keep as many elements of it as possible, even on days that might have forced interruptions like travel or appointments. In that case, have a shortened version or plan to do it later if possible.
No excuses!
