I like to challenge myself to see if I'm using phrases correctly or just following someone else's idea of what things mean.
I realize I did this with the terms mental health and healing journey.
I don't think these are accurate for most people.
Here's why. They imply you need something to physically heal. As if your body needs to complete a process on its own.
I think mental fitness is the better term to cover both for most people.
That's because what you likely need is to learn a skill and gain a little knowledge. You most likely don't have brain damage, just a weak mind. Weakness can be fixed by going to the gym. The mind gym in this case.
